Common Gray Moth -- Anavitrinella Pampinaria

The common gray moth's scientific name is anavitrinella pampinaria. We found it in the kitchen by the light. (We took these pictures)




The larvae are small caterpillars that mimic sticks. They eat many deciduous trees and shrubs, including ash and elm, which we have in our yard, and even clover, cotton, and grasses.They look like this. (We didn't take these pictures)
